This red brick building, formerly used by Barmer, is near the bus stop “Feuerbachstraße” on the bus routes 780, 782 and 785, which go from Heinrich-Heine-Allee towards Erkrath, Solingen or Langenfeld. It is 350 metres’ walk (5 minutes) along Fruchtstraße from the metro and tram stop “Karolingerplatz”. From the mainline station, take tram 704 to Karolingerplatz.
Limited parking might be possible along Feuerbachstraße.

Meetings start at 16:30. The building closes at 18:30 on Saturday evenings. Therefore our meetings start one hour earlier than previously.

Seeing Europe during the Covid years by bicycle

For the year 2020, the plan was to do a bicycle tour and wild camp each month. Then the Covid restrictions came. This surprisingly led to touring a large number of European countries without tourists while carefully keeping distance and finding secluded camp spots. Imagine Prague, Salzburg, Amsterdam, without people! Mission accomplished, Andy Ganner set out to do the same again in 2021. His talk and slide show take you around Europe without tourism and an ingenious way of doing so without flouting the plethora of restrictions that were in place.
