This red brick building, formerly used by Barmer, is
near the bus stop “Feuerbachstraße” on the bus routes
780, 782 and 785, which go from Heinrich-Heine-Allee
towards Erkrath, Solingen or Langenfeld. It is 350
metres’ walk
(5 minutes) along Fruchtstraße from the metro and tram
stop “Karolingerplatz”. From the mainline station,
take tram 704 to Karolingerplatz.
Limited parking might be possible along Feuerbachstraße.
From now on, meetings will start at 16:30!
Our new building closes at 18:30 on Saturday evenings.
Therefore meetings start one hour earlier.
T. E. Lawrence – man or myth?

Martina R. Jones will talk about why she has been fascinated by this man, more famously known as ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ because of his exploits in WW I, for more than half her life.
Although Lawrence enjoyed great fame, he always claimed to want the anonymity offered by army life. An enigmatic, tortured character, revered and reviled by his contemporaries, one who has been described as ‘backing into the limelight’. What was he really like?
